Our Story
Twenty-five years ago, my culinary journey began in the vibrant heart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where my passion for pastries and wedding catering took root. It was a time of discovery and growth, as I honed my skills in the bustling kitchen environment, learning the delicate art of crafting exquisite desserts that brought joy to countless celebrations. My career flourished over the decades, yet my husband, Lawrence Goodwin, and I yearned for a new adventure. Four years ago, we followed our hearts to the sun-drenched shores of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, drawn by the allure of its vibrant culture and scenic beauty.
In the colonia of Versailles, just north of the romantic zone, we found the perfect spot to bring our visions to life. Two years ago, we opened our first neighborhood cocktail bar, a cozy haven where locals and tourists alike could gather to enjoy our expertly crafted agave spirit cocktails. Our mission was simple yet profound: to create a space where people could connect over shared experiences and flavors.
Encouraged by the warm reception, we took a bold step forward one year ago by opening our restaurant and bar in the same area. Here, we introduced the community to our passion for delicious slow-smoked meats, paired perfectly with our signature craft cocktails. Our journey has been fueled by a desire to foster connections, not only with the tantalizing flavors we offer but also with the people who walk through our doors. As we continue to share our love for culinary artistry and community spirit, Lawrence and I are grateful for every moment of this incredible adventure.
